Arbitrage Calculator

Split a USD budget across two or three mutually exclusive outcomes. Enter the odds to compare whole-cent stakes, payouts and the net result for each possible winner.

Enter your total budget and the offered odds for every outcome of one market. The calculator balances returns before allocating whole-cent stakes. Default prices are a hypothetical example.

Use whole US dollar cents, up to $1 billion, with at least $0.01 per outcome. The entire budget is allocated. Enter numbers without grouping separators.

Use all outcomes of the same event, line and settlement rules. American: +110. Decimal: 2.1. Fractional: 11/10. Changing format clears prices.

Every modeled outcome is positive before added costs. This depends on every bet being accepted at the entered price and settling under matching rules.

Assumes a complete market with exactly one winner and stakes returned on wins. The whole budget is allocated in cents; payouts are rounded down to cents for this conservative estimate. Fees, taxes, promotions, exchange lay liability, pushes, voids and execution availability are excluded.

How to use the arbitrage betting calculator

  1. Choose a two-way or three-way market and the odds format. Include every possible outcome under the same settlement terms.
  2. Enter the total USD budget and the available price for each outcome. All of the budget is split across the entered outcomes.
  3. Compare each stake, winning payout and net result. The lowest net uses the displayed stakes and conservative payout rounding; account for actual costs and available limits.

Hypothetical example: a $100 budget at +110 on both outcomes (2.1 decimal) allocates $50 to each side. Either modeled winning bet returns $105, leaving $5 net before added costs.

Arbitrage calculator questions

How is the budget split between outcomes?

Each ideal stake equals the budget multiplied by that outcome’s implied probability, divided by the sum for the complete market. The calculator allocates whole cents, assigning leftover cents to the largest fractional remainders. The stakes add to the entered budget.

Why can the net results differ by outcome?

Stakes must be whole cents, so ideal equal returns are not always possible. Each displayed payout is calculated from its actual stake and rounded down to a cent. Small theoretical advantages can disappear after rounding; inspect the lowest net result.

When should I use a three-way market?

Use it when three mutually exclusive outcomes cover the event, such as home win, draw and away win. Omitting a draw leaves an uncovered outcome. Do not mix event lines or settlement terms.

Does a positive result guarantee an executable profit?

No. This is a model of the entered prices. Fees, commissions, taxes, stake limits, partial acceptance, price changes and different settlement rules can change the actual result. Exchange lay bets, free bets, voids and refunds need a different model.
