Odds Converter
Convert American, decimal and fractional betting odds and implied probability. Enter one price or percentage to see the equivalent formats instantly.
Choose your input format and enter a price or probability percentage. All four equivalents update as you type.
Examples: -110 American, 1.91 decimal, 10/11 fractional. In probability mode, enter 40 or 40% for forty percent. Use a dot for decimals. Changing formats clears the input.
A price implies a probability that can include market margin. A probability input expresses your assumption; conversion does not verify it or forecast an outcome. Displayed prices are rounded; fractional ratios use the exact input text. Fees, taxes and promotions are excluded.
How to use the betting odds converter
- Choose the format of the price or percentage you already have.
- Enter the value. Probability uses percentage units: 40 means 40%, and 0.4 means 0.4%.
- Compare the equivalent American, decimal and fractional odds and implied probability. Use the payout calculator when you want to model a stake.
Example: +150 American, 2.5 decimal, 3/2 fractional and 40% implied probability describe the same price. A probability conversion expresses that percentage assumption, while a quoted price may include margin.

How do American, decimal and fractional odds relate?
All three describe the return represented by a price. Positive American odds show profit per $100 staked; negative American odds show the stake for $100 profit. Decimal odds include the returned stake. Fractional odds express profit relative to stake.
Can I convert a probability into betting odds?
Yes. Choose Probability (%) and enter a percentage strictly between 0 and 100, optionally followed by %. A 40% assumption gives decimal odds of 100 ÷ 40 = 2.5, American +150 and fractional 3/2. It remains an assumption rather than an independently verified chance.
How do I calculate a payout from these odds?
Multiply the stake by the decimal odds to get the winning payout including stake. Subtract the stake for profit. The linked odds calculator models those amounts in USD; actual costs and settlement terms still matter.
Does odds conversion remove the bookmaker’s margin?
Converting a single price preserves its implied probability. Removing margin requires the prices for every mutually exclusive outcome of the same market and a chosen normalization method, as in the no-vig calculator.
